TUCSON, Ariz. (July 5) — The Millennium Technologies/KWR team heads to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this weekend in Monterey, Calif. for the penultimate round of the 2016 MotoAmerica series. Running in conjunction with the World Superbike championship, the Wyman brothers will be competing in front of the world stage.
Last year’s races at Laguna Seca brought top-10 finishes to the brothers, and this year they will look to build on the momentum from last weekend’s races at Utah Motorsports Campus.
“I’m really looking forward to racing at Laguna again this year alongside the World Superbike boys,” Kyle said. “The atmosphere at the world championship races is always incredible and competitive. Laguna is a track that I really like and have come to grips with well. My R1 has been running really well lately and I think we will have a strong showing here.”
Kyle, the elder of the Wyman brothers competing, comes fresh off his wild weekend at Utah Motorsports Campus where he finished as high as a win in the Superbike Challenge race and as low as it gets while tumbling through the gravel. The 26-year-old New Yorker says that his focus is only forward as the season is in it’s second-to-last event.
“After this coming weekend in California, we will have an 8-week break in the schedule before our final round at New Jersey,” Wyman added. “I want to take success into the break. My crew deserves it. I’m going to leave it all on the track at Laguna and hopefully come away with some career-best finishes for the Millennium Technologies team.”

Travis Wyman chasing after wins this weekend at Mazda Raceway
For the KWR Superstock 600 effort, younger brother Travis Wyman will compete again at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca aboard his Millennium Technologies Yamaha YZF-R6. With the championship wrapped up and title hopes over, Wyman is looking to cap off the season victorious.
“Laguna is a track that I know well from the Rookies Cup days,” Travis said. “Since the title chase is over for us, my aim is just to go have fun and try to win races. I know we are capable of more than what we have shown these past few rounds, and I can’t wait to .”
